Punjab News: In a significant operation against drug trafficking, Counter Intelligence, Amritsar, arrested three individuals near Punjabi Bagh Resort on Attari Road.

Preliminary investigations indicate possible cross-border connections to the recovered heroin, given the proximity of the operation site to the India-Pakistan border. The authorities are collaborating with central agencies to trace the origin and transit route of the seized contraband, aiming to curb cross-border drug smuggling.

• Heroin: 5 kilograms, with an estimated market value running into crores.
• Cash: ₹4.45 lakh in drug money, believed to be proceeds from illegal sales.
